Nothing makes my heart happier than a few hours spent browsing the bookshelves at a local thrift shop. Here are some gems I picked up today:

Top row (left to right):

  • I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings // Maya Angelou
  • The Catcher in the Rye // J.D. Salinger
  • Atlas Shrugged // Ayn Rand

Bottom row (left to right):

  • To the Lighthouse // Virginia Woolf
  • Where’d You Go, Bernadette // Maria Semple
  • The Secret Life of Bees // Sue Monk Kidd
  • The Count of Monte Cristo // Alexandre Dumas
  • Coffee, Tea, or Me? // Trudy Baker & Rachel Jones
  • Fahrenheit 451 // Ray Bradbury

Some of these I’ve read, most I haven’t, and I have an identical copy of The Catcher in the Rye but I just love that O.G. cover, and now I have one to lend out without the fear of losing one of my favorites forever.
